Air Filter Installation
Got the stock aircleaner assembly today from Denali, great guy to work with by the way. It's a 2003 Vert with a Hurricane filter on it now. Now I have to confess I know the difference between a box end wrench and an open end but I'm not a mechicanic.
Can anyone explain how to install the stock air filter assembly? I can see what looks like 2 mounting points I assume that where the back of the assembley mounts. It looks like rubber gromments hold it in place. I also have a piece that is black and looks like a pvc pipe. I'm not sure what that is for or where it mounts. Looking forward to some help guys and gals, thanks.

Search this forum for my threads. I swapped out my stock air box lid for the Z06 and changed out the filter to K&N, installed smooth coupler and cleaned MAF with CRC MAF cleaner while I was at it. There are several good responses to my similar Questions,,,,with pics even, Good luck!
