One Cent Mod
http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r...onecentmod.jpg
I used a penny to make a cover for the door key hole! I mixed a small amount of resin and put enough on the coin to make a nice rounded shape, and then painted it the body color. On the back side I beveled the edge slightly for a better fit and then attached a small magnet with 3M double stick tape. I have used it for about four months and have been very satisfied with the look. What do you think of my
cheapie mod?

Well, if we could just see the keyhole, we'd tell you. The link leads to a photo smaller than a postage stamp!

I really hate to pile on here, but yeah if you drove your car by my house I might have a better view of it. Just honk so I can run to the window!

You're right on about the small photo, but I'll have to figure out why it was so small. Here is another photo of the finished penny which should be large enough to see. Sorry about the small photo.

Wow that's an idea!
I was gonna pick up a plastic screw cover at Home Depot and do the same thing. You just saved me a trip and some gas. Thanks, David

So those guys on the street begging for change... maybe they're just corvette mod-a-holics looking for their next fix?

I admire your creativity, but it sounds like you put $20 of time and labor into your "one cent" mod.
