Compensation?, just ask my wife.

My response for "Having a mid life crisis" is That it would be a crisis if I reach midlife and couldn't afford one. I got that from CF, and it always shuts them up.

Huh huh, compensating for something? .....

I never hear that line but do hear "it must be nice".

My response is "Yes it is"!

Tell them to get in, run through the gears once, let them out and say
have a nice day.

Mine is an A4, I don't think they would enjoy it that much.

I have one too and you would be suprised with how much they do enjoy it...
As for everything else, I think that last batch of Hater-ade everyone is drinking was made a little strong. Too much jealousy powder added probably

Q: "Compensating for something" ?
A: Yes, the fact that all other cars SUCK!!!

Q: "Compensating for something"?
A: It's my wife's DD, why don't you ask her that question. Careful you don't get b*tch slapped

Q:"Second childhood"?
A: Hell, I'm not done with the first one yet!

Q: "How can you afford it, I have a mortgage and three kids"?
A: I also have a mortgage and three kids; my C5, my Z71, and my boat.

I don't care what others think. If they want to get 75 mpg while driving their kids to soccer practice in a mini SUV and feel good about the environment, far be it from me to stop them.
I personally prefer to do 75 mph sideways in 3rd with white knuckles. If they don't understand, they should try it or SHUT-UP!!!

During 9 years of owning my vette, no one has ever said that to me. At least not to my face.
