If I want to use a floor jack on my C5, where is the best place to put
it so I won't screw anything up anything underneath? Where do I put it to lift the rear end up (both wheels) off the floor and ditto for the front end? How about if I want to just want to get one wheel off the floor, front and rear? Hope this makes sense.
That's pretty kewl. Of course your only showing the rear wheels in those clips.
To get to the front #1 spots your suppose to come in from the back side of the front tires. I couldn't get mine in there at stock height.
On the side location for the front I could not get the floor jack and the puck in there at stock height. My floor jack looks similar to the one used in the clips, and with that round head on the jack it fit perfect in the area of contact without touching the body panel or another other component without using the puck.
The only way I've figured out how to use pucks on the front is to have two floor jacks, start the rear up just enought to get the front floor jack and puck under there and then lift it. Of course you have to remember when it comes down to ensure your rear location jack and puck are lined up and ready to contact prior to the front being completely down, otherwise you won't get the jack out.
