Differences between 2-tip and 4-tip exhaust
I am looking to get a Borla Stinger exhaust system, and being new to performance modifications, I am unsure of what the difference between the two and four tip systems are. I read here while searching that there is no major volume difference between the two... so what makes the large difference in price? Performance? Sound?
Thanks for the help, I did a search for "Borla two four" and nothing that really explained it came up.

Hey Anthony,
I can't speak for Borla.
I can tell you, that for the GHL's, it is all in the production cost of the two additional tips. Tips are very expensive to make.
If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call.
Peace
Chip

IMHO,
No performance or sound diff, cat back doesn't do much anyways. For the Borlas, I beleive the twin tips are 4 inch while quads are 3.5 inch. Go with the twin tips and save the cash for the foot induced drop in gas mileage

I would be surprised to learn from any further posts if the difference was anything beyond appearance... I for one prefer the looks of 4 tips over 2.

with Chip... I'm only guessing here but yes, the tips are EXPENSIVE... Stainless Steel and polished to boot... so more tips = more money...
Good luck!!

The 4 tip version just fills up the exhaust area better IMO.

4 tip is more bling and makes it look more stockish. I like 4 tip better! Thats what I got, the 2 tips are too big.
