Yes, probably you will. Seems Vararam is the best intake and that most people gain .5 over stock with it, i can't imagine any other intake that does that. most seem like just changed air bridges w/ big filters on the end, the Vararam is actually engineered.

I noticed some difference with the blackwing. Definetly better than stock.

Both are great. If I was to buy new I'd probably go for the Vararam (actually, I did after having a blackwing on my other vette), but think you would get more bang spending that money elsewhere since you already have a very nice setup (BTW, check out the cold air mod people do to the fan shroud)..

Spend a little more and go with headers... You WONT regret that!

Good luck

you'll notice a difference in the amount of swear words in your vocabulary while you install it.

.....only on hot Summer days after stop & go traffic and slow moving traffic. However, you can fix that and achieve a very similar ram-air infusion by doing my CAI mod. Its link is listed here:

I switched from the Blackwing to the Vararam and could definitely feel the difference. Also, I log the intake air temp with EFI Live and the temps with the Vararam never go above ambient since it pulls air in from the front of the car. The temps with my Blackwing were essentially engine bay temps except when they would drop some at speed since I had the fog light shrouds out. But they never got as low as the Vararam keeps them.

Probably will notice an increase in HP. Vararam reportedly has the best gains from an air intake mod.
