to look at, but what a total waste of money there. Bet the tire companies would be salivating at that video.

perhaps he was planning on getting new tires. They appeared to be the stock goodyear EMTs. (i'm trying to give a benifit of the doubt)
as far as the diesel goes, it should provide an insane amount of low end torque and with the correct transmission/gears would give many advantages both on the street and strip. I believe Banks Engineering at one time held several world records piston driven vehicles with diesels.

more $$$$ than brains. By the way , a 6 cylinder could do a brake torque just as well.

It's been done. A friend from high school's dad put a '70s stingray body, and interior on a 4x4 truck frame. Actually looked interesting having a 5 foot high roof line, and 30" mud tires on it. Not to say it had a supercharged big-block in it, and would roast all four tires. I know it pissed off a bunch of vette people around that saw it, but I thought it was interesting.

good use for runflats if you ask me, plus i think the car is a cool idea.
800 ft lbs of torque, can run on 50 cent a gallon bio diesel and probably runs 11's with ease.

Sounds like a lawn tractor. What's next, a Hybrid C5? What's the point.

wow. a lot of haters here for some one trying something different. The guy has the money to do it, why not. Same reason some one changes their wheels. They were just a little more daring.

Guys... it's not real... where's the proof?
*No black smoke
*No engine bay shots
*No sounds of the car idling
The video has music, goes quiet, then the burnout starts... BS.
