What are my C5 brothers and sisters cooking up for Independence day?

I am grilling hot dogs. Nothing more American than hot dogs! I'll have some chili, onions, cheese and mustard on them!

What are y'all cooking?

It's been raining on and off for days in central Texas. Marble Falls, about 30 miles from here got almost 19" of rain one night. All of the local lakes are shut down for boating and swimming and flood gates are open.

I have a covered patio and will be grilling though. Stay dry my friend

We'll bbq some chicken, steam some broccoli (yeah, I like it!), drink some Diet Coke and Bacardi Rum (0 calories/0 carbs)...balance the good stuff with the bad...have some ice cream later.
It's 116 degrees just 100 miles from us, but it's 100 degrees up here in the mountains...monsoon just around the corner and it won't be a dry heat anymore.

100 degrees here. Just came from the parade and Vette show and firing up the grill for some chicken and shrimp fajitas, watermelon, and lots of cold lemonade.

I'm just 60 miles down the road from Cozmo and it's raining cats and dogs here. That won't keep me from grilling some burgers on the covered patio. And enjoying an ice cold Shiner Kolsch. Prosit !!!!

Sounds pretty good. I read this to my wife. She asked if you could provide some cooking instructions so I can make it for her sometime.

Thanks

We actually have some pretty nice weather going on right now. They predicted rain, and we had some in the AM but that was about it.

Sat on the covered patio and had baked spaghetti, garlic bread with Asti and tiramisu for dessert. Just got the Italian thing going today for some reason. (I actually forgot to take the baby backs out of the freezer)

You need green, yellow & red peppers, regular onions. Slowly sautee in butter. Cook until all is 'limp'.

Now I used to get fresh sausage in Jersey, but now I must deal with Johnsons mild or hot Italian sausage. Cook on grill for 15 minutes or juices flow after piercing the skin. Assemble and use a nice honey/dijon mustard. Inglehoffer's is very good!!

I grew up in Detroit. My sister lives in Bellville, out towards Ann Arbor. I'm going up there to visit in September.

Took an early morning drive to Newcomb's Ranch and the tunnels on Highway 2. Pictures will be up on my website in a few minutes. web.mac.com/rad23racer Saw about 6 LA County Sheriff and 3-4 Forest Rangers. Tried to tone it down a little bit but that automatic just wants tp pick up speed going down hill. Met up with some S2ki.com members that were headed up the hill as I was going down. One of them started down with me but I never saw him again after the second turn.

You got it.

My sisters husband has a boat in Oceanside Harbour. Take me for a ride and I'll see if I can get him to take us fishing. If you are ever over there, that little mall with the fake light house has a small mom and pop owned fish and chips shop. Their fried fish is great!
