Default Z51 question

I am looking at a few C5's to buy (over the net). Most of the owners can't tell me if it has the Z51 suspension. Are the rotors drilled/slotted if Z51. I know I can get the RPO's to tell also.

Thanks,

tell them to open the glove box, it will say Z51 on the spec list on the backside of the glovebox door.

Z51 is the right move.

No way to tell by looking at the exterior of the car like the C6Z51(bigger brakes), power steering cooler is easiest non RPO to tell, though it can be added(as well as the other suspension components). D/S rotors are aftermarket bling, all C5 rotors are the same.

I agree, that is the easiest and best way to tell.

Z51 C5's have the same rotors as a base FE1 cars.
The C6 Z51's have the drilled and slotted rotors, but NOT the C5's

On a Z51 C5 the RPO tag will have Z51 and also FE3
