Default Throttle body

I have a 2003 C5 and I got stuck in oregon heading back to vancouver and had to goto a dealership they said the throttle body in not working now I have the part and they say it is a four hour job to re and re this sounds like alot of time to do this what do you guys think.

I think if it is just the throttle body its a one hour job (or less).

It's fairly straightforward. If you have a replacement throttle body just do it yourself.

Sounds like a lot of time just to replace the throttle body. Are they doing anything else?

They need to drill a hole in it for meth kit

It is under a one hour job, including the coffee break, wait at the parts counter and flirting with the cashier.....

I can't estimate the time to drill a hole for a meth kit but 1) I'd probably not have a dealer do it and 2) It doesn't seem like it would take more than a few minutes to do.
