Default Michelin 335 PS2's

Will Michelin 335 PS2's fit on stock rear 18 x 10.5 Z06 wheels? Will they fit a C5 Z06 without tubbing or removing the brake cooling duct?

335 is recommended for a 12-13 in rim, so maybe you can stuff it into a 10.5, but it wouldn't be the smart thing to do.

They will fit but they wont look good, theyll be buldging pretty good.

With 335's youll have to remove the brake ducts.

U4ick:

Thanks for the link! I'll be going with the 315's on the stock Z06 rims! The michelin site recommends 10.5 -11" rims for the 315.

We have 315's on our '86 vette on 11" ZR1 wheels. They stick out about 3/4 of an inch but that's ok for the extra rubber being put down.

I'll also be adding tire pressure sensors to the factory z06 wheels and then have the sensors activated. (on the RED ZEE06)

If it even fit at all, I think your handling would go to crap. You would also be sticking out on both sides pretty far therfore throwing stones all over your paint. *That's if it even fits on your wheels. Get a 12" Wheel & a mini tub and you'll be all set. You would have some great off the line traction, I can tell you that.

YAWN!
If you had done a search on a site like 'Tirerack' etc., you would have found your answer.
Everyone wants big meat on the back, but dosen't want to spend the $$$ for correct size/offset wheels. Even if you find some idiot to force 335's onto a 10.5'' wheel, the tire will never make a 'full footprint', and have less traction than a 305...so what's the point???????????????

Tires sticking look so cool!

NOT!

315 is the largest you can/should go on a stock z06 rim (10.5")...even that will slightly bulge, but not real noticeable

I've put them on 11" iForged before. I wouldnt suggest putting them on your stockers but if you've already got the tires and are just waiting on the wheels might as well put 'em on. They bulged pretty good on the 11" wheels, and stuck out maybe half and inch, looked good though. Like an oldschool musclecar

I run PS1s on CCW 12s, brake ducts out and they stick out a bit, maybe 1/4". I like the looks, and it is old school. Lots of folks here freak out when they see tires out of the well. I love the new Z fenders and I have seen a few cars with big fenders, here, pure sex IMO

Bluff, PS1 suck in a straight line and my car 1-3 is expensive smoke. Good luck man
Dave
PS I have a set of kuhmo escta v700s 305 30s in the garage that I need to mount back on oem rims... for that autox this month damn!

I ran 315 rear and 275 front Faulken RT-615 on my C5Z06. A lot -o- stick, with stock wheels.
