CAJUNDUDE Rocks

An example:
Last Sunday the Blue Thunder group in DFW did a cruise to Thruber (ghost town west of Ft. Worth). For me the travel distance was around 200 miles.
There was "some" spirited driving (of course this never exceeded the posted speed limit
) and all went well with the Vette's in the group.Upon leaving Thruber I went my separate way (needed to get home).
Driving along about 30 miles from Thruber, surprise - a DIC message saying to "Check Gages".
In my stupid mode I glanced at them, and then pushed the "Reset" button - and the message went away
Within a minute or two another message: "Charging System Failure" appears

I then notice the Voltage gages is reading ~6V

Needless to say I shut every electrical application (I.e., radio, iPod, GPS) down.
Since the Vette continued to operate I drove the remainder of the way home (~50) - sweating (literally and figuratively since the heat index was well into the 100's) the whole distance.
I had a chrome alternator that was done by Cajundude on the Vette for a couple of months. I isolated the issue to it and immediately sent a PM to him asking what should I do. He immediately replied: "Ship it to me".
So Monday morning bright and early I sent the unit. Jason (Cajundude) responded with another PM that he would have the unit returned in time for a cruise this weekend
So yesterday (Friday) the FexEx truck shows up - alternator is on it and ready for installation. I immediately installed it and voilà - no problems
So - kudos to Cajundude - excellent customer service
