Default What should I do now???

My car now: stock, A-4, 2.73

Ok, so I'm getting these mods in less than a month, Vararam, 3200 stall converter, 3.42 gears.

Since my car will be a t a speed shop anyway I'm thinking about long tube headers, high flow cats and x pipe.

BUT the above package is like $1600.00 not installed!

Should I go with a cam instead? are the costs about the same?

A cam is around $400. Im not sure how much to get it installed. IMO I would do the headers, x-pipe, and high flow cats before the cam. I would wait on the cam until you change the heads also.

Definitely go with the headers first. You can appreciate the sound until you can get h/c. Then you will appreciate the sound all over again.
