Default Weld VS. CCW

I'm looking at two wheels the Weld EVO BC-10 and the CCW SP20A's, I know some dont like the flowery looking wheels but other than that anyone have any experience with both or either, input is appreciated. .. thanks jon c

I have ordered the SP20A's, cant wait to get them.....

I don't have any personal experience with either, but many friends of mine run CCW's on their cars. Most of them run the Classics though, so I'm sorry I can't really be helpful. I can attest to CCW's customer support, not to mention it's really nice to be able to tell them exactly what you want to run and they build the wheel custom for you. Good luck on your decision though. Both are great companies from what I know.

I like the CCW's for the C5 bodystyle...and agree with what everyone else has said. I like Weld Alumastar...or whatever for a drag setup on my old GN or Turbo Regal.

Weld makes a very good wheel and the BC-10s are chrome which makes upkeep very easy. And at least they used to come with a 5 year warranty on the chrome (not sure if they still do since I heard Weld had some financial problems a while back).

CCW wheels are excellent and they really stand behind the wheels - there is more work involved in keeping them looking great though unless you get them chromed.

Default bc-10s

i have the bc-10s and love them. they are chromed and do come with a 5 year warranty (no other company gives that). weld is now owned by american racing. i have a set of (4) 18x9.5 and bought (2) 19x11 in case i want to put 19s on the rear in the future. they are easy to maintain not like billet which require much more work.

I have the 505A's for the vette, was running Welds on my pickup, just didn't like what they had out for the vette. Welds are great wheels, strong and light.

CCW is the only wheel we would ever use.

between my dad and I, we own 5 sets of CCWs. They are the best wheel you can buy for the value. Besides that John @ CCW (the owner) is the nicest guy.
