C 6 Shifter
Has anyone replaced there stock shifter with the c6 shifter
I know somw have done the zo6 shifter and loved it just wondering whether the stock one is a good fit as well

Yeah I read numerous posts but they were in regards to the z06 shifter my question is whether the stock c6 shifter has been switched?

Yes, I replaced mine with the Stock C6 Shifter solely because the Z06 Shifter was not available.
I believe that both are available, but the concensus of the write-Ups is that the Z06 shifter is better and cheaper than the C6 shifter.
Either way, compared to the C5 shifter, you will not be disappointed.

Fits perfect, vast improvement in shifting, plus a cool ****!
The mod takes 1-2 hours, maybe a 3 beer job...

The C6 shifter is no different mechanically than the C5 shifter. The shaft is slightly bent and it's about an inch shorter. Feels just like a shortened C5 shifter.
