1997 C5 - Performance Enhancemet
Just put some new shocks on my C5. Made a huge difference. The right rear was completely dead.
I'm now wondering what are some basic performance enhancements that can be made to improve power. My 1997 C5 has a new Borla exhaust but that is it. Everything else is still stock. What are some of the best changes you can make to gain some additional HP's out of the stock block.

Performance enhansment? GEARS,GEARS,GEARS!!!! Iwent with 3.42s in my 97 and its the best performance bang for your buck! It may not add H.P. but if sure feels like it does! Did I mention GEARS!

Unfortunately I have a 4 speed auto. Would love the stick, but I'm not going to sell my 55k mile 97 in perfect condition just to get the 6 speed.
