I bought one years ago from Ecklers (other vendors like Mid-America have the same one), that is silver on one side and a dark material on the other. It folds like an acordian and fits the C5 windshield perfectly. Cost was about $50, but it has held up for well over 9 years now and through two C5s.

Wow 50 bucks for a sunshade? Talk about a Corvette tax! For that price, I hope it works really good for you.

I bought the 2piece Extra Large one from Grand Auto and it folds/twist up nicely for behind the passenger seat, fit the window almost perfectly and stay up against the windshield by itself. I use it everyday and it drops the temp in the car dramatically. Oh and it was $19.95.
Couldn't be happier with it. But buy the extra large cause that Vette windshield is one bigazz window.

I also have the one from Mid-America, worth the money.

I know this might sound crazy, but I just got a very nice one from L&M cool shades. I paid $65 for it but is worth every penny. I tried several of the cheap ones but nothing fit the windshield. This one covers it completly. One side has a silver material with the C5 logo and the back is a nice felt. I live in Arizona and a good sun shade is a must not only to keep it cool but also save your interior. Just my .02.

I got the same one from Autozone for $13. Best investment so far. It gets hot here in Los Angeles too.

Default Costco

I bought a pair of generic circular folding shades at Costco. They were really inexpensive and they are very large. I cover the windshield and the windows with them. I also cover the seats with them when the top is down. At least check out your local Costco first. I don't remember paying very much for them at all either.

I got it from Ecklers, made by Ferguson. I think Mid-America has them too.

I got the one in the link below without the logo from another place for less money, they are custom made for each cars windshield, and I think they are made by cover craft. They are very good.

Default Aircraft-Type Shade

Check these out.....think I originally got info on CF several years ago. The same company makes them for aircraft. Fits tight for front and sides. Mine actual has Torch Red trim which looks cool in place. Great quality as well!

I got the same one for here in Arkansas. I still have a time getting both to stay up but they make a big difference in the temp.
