Ignition Switch...? Black wire?
I started (tried) my 64 3 weeks ago at the local Ice Cream place and the entire ignition switch rotated (never was loose that I knew of) ..anyhow I have a black wire hanging down that is ripped in half...
My 63 shop Manuel does not have electrical info in it...BUT I believe the wire is the ground.. can anyone verify this..?
I started the car by hot wiring it BUT being old (63) I pulled my back doing so.. dozen trips to the Chiropractor still has not made be comfortable enough to crawl under the dash... but this Saturday will be the 4th week without the car and DAMIT I'm going to get under there and fix the thing one way or another...not driving it is driving me to drink.. Have removed the key Cylinder should be a simple job to fix the wire.. Just want to make sure that Black is the ground..
