[Z06] Z06 Wheels Weight???

Also, interesting, my weights for the (front) 01 forged don't match up to the posted 19.6 lb you see everywhere. I use a calibrated digital shipping scale and they are 20.30 lb (perfectly cleaned, no weights, no valve stem, no center cap). And my 02-04 Speedlines w/ F1's are almost exactly 1 lb lighter per wheel/tire than my 01's w/ F1s. And the F1 tread on the 02-04 wheels is more than the 01's, so I know the tires aren't lighter, slightly heavier actually.
My hunch is the posted weights of the Speedlines being ~ .3 lb lighter per wheel over the Alcoa's is wrong, and more like .9 - 1.1 lb per wheel.
Also the posted tirerack weights for the GY F1's are way off. They are way lighter than what they spec.
42.66 lbs for 17x9.5" Speedline with F1 SC @ 5/32nds
46.00 lbs for 18x10.5" Speedline w/ F1 SC @ 2/32nds

The 2002 stock wheels were light for their size
17 x 9.5 fronts weigh 19.2
18 x 10.5 rears weigh 21
If you want tohelp reduce unsprung weight get a set of Hickock Sprints
18 x 9.5 fronts weigh 17
18 x 11 rears weigh 18
It's over a 10 LB difference, significant. This is unsprung weight and it's a very high quality finely polished 2 piece wheel. I'v had them om my car for almost 4.5 years. they go great with
