Ok ,so I'm the proud owner of an 01 coupe. I can't believe I finally have a Vette ! It's awesome as you all know.
How I got my vette is really the story to be told here .For months I have been coming to this forum reading posts and learnig all that I could about the c5. While reading a thread I noticed a persons avatar with a Florida Gator on it. I work for the University Athletic Association so it caught my eye. I sent Micah aka MPH1972 a private message telling him of my job and that I live in Gainesville.He writes back and soon a friendship is formed.
Micah lives in Charleston ,SC and is a 17 year navy man. he tells me that he is willing to drive from SC to Gainesville and then to anywhere in the state of Florida to help me find my car.
Well one day my phone rings and Micah says that he is in the Gainesville area.We meet,he meets my familly( shows wifey his sweet Vette ) and the next day we drive to Tampa vette hunting. I would have bought the first vette we saw but Micah steered me away from several .After a LONG test drive and inspection Micah gives me the .
It was incredibly what Micah did for me. I can't thank him enough !!
So, this is more a story about a great human being then a person getting the car of his dreams !
