Budget performance mods, ideas?

Okay, car runs great and is look'in pretty good now! So any ideas for a performance mod, not sound or cosmetic. $1500 max since I can get a 3.90 rearend installed for a super cheap thrill, since I have 3.42 and the mn6. 1 item or several within that dollar amount. Is it possible?

for your budget Long Tube Headers would be nice or Juice

Intake and long tubes. But be warned, once you start you will never stop modding.

Since you live in the Republic of Kalifornia, LT's may present a problem. Do the 3.90's, a good CAI (Cold Air Intake) - get rid of the stock shifter and get a good tune. You can also find a set of used Z06 sway bars on the forum.

Sure - Blackwing or Vararam plus Shorty headers (used) will be well within your budget and you'll pick up some HP. Shorties don't make as much as long tubes but they are quieter and much cheaper and they do look cool. $.02
