Amsoil air filter users step inside
I'm thinking about replacing the whole airbox assembly with a amsoil conical airfilter like ive seen a few members doing. I had a few questions before i do this though if anyone can give me some feedback. First do you just tie off the air pump hose going into the stock airbox or make a pvc coupler/adapter and put it into the base of the new filter, and secondly has anyone had any problems with them getting wet driving in the rain. My vette is my DD so this is a big concern for me.

Can't really answer your exact questions as I'm required to run the stock airbox in SCCA T1 racing, though I do use the EAA83 in the stock box.
I can help you on pricing via the AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program if you decide to go the AMSOIL filter route though.
