I'm about to upgrade my base suspension to Z51 bars, and noticed the front bar contacts an A/C line that crosses over it. My question is, with the larger diameter Z51 bar, will it contacting the A/C line possibly damage the aluminum A/C line? Can the A/C line be bent slightly to clear the sway bar?

I had the same thing on my 03, the union of the A/C hose was contacting the sway bar. The mechanic simply tied the A/C line out of the sway bars way with a cable tie, worked for me!!

But the sway bar is solid where it comes close to the sway bar, how could a tie strap hold the A/C line out of the way ??
It's the metal part of the A/C line that comes close to the sway bar.
Mine came kinda close with the Z06 sway bars, so I just put a wad of silicone between the two.
But I was thinking I could loosen the fitting and then rotate the hose a little bit to gain a little more clearence, but I didn't want to take the chance of breaking the A/C system, so I didn't loosen the fitting.
