Just found the news myself and I have a lot of reservations about the forum being sold.
It has been my experience that everytime a company I worked for was sold the new owners somehow just don't take care of it like the previous owners.
Let's hope the forum stays as outstanding as it currently is.

I have never cared much for companies changing hands.

What about upgrading your status as a Forum Member. Lifte Time, Gold Member, etc. Does a member send his/her money to the new owners?
I'll reserve judgement on the new owners. I have first hand knowledge of the unscrouplous handling of a sale by Cars Direct.com. Everything is fine as long as they don't make an error that is not in their favor. If they do they just tell you to sue or take a hike.
I hope our Forum does stay the same.

Another thought about the sell.
Why does a company buy another? One reason is to make money by getting rid of the competition or maybe in our case to charge us a fee to be members. Just a thought!!!

People usally buy and sell to make money, something is bound to change and I'd bet it will have to do with $$$$$

IMHO corvetteforum.com is in part, what it's members have made it. There is absolutely no doubt that the founders of the forum put a lot of passion, sweat and hard work in keeping the forum spirit alive. If IB does not scare the CF members away, we are all good

The members make this forum. I doubt they will do anything to make us unhappy.
