Default Adding GMPP. Which plan?

The factory warranty is about to expire on my 04 Vert. I also have it up for sale (thinking about keeping it though). It seems that GMPP is desirable for buyers of used C5s. So, here's my question:

If you were in the market for a used C5, what GMPP plan would you want? Duration/mileage/deductable.

If I was to keep the car, I was thinking a 48/32/200 plan as it's pretty cheap to add. I don't get to drive the car as much as I'd like much (5900 miles in 3 years ) and really only want to protect myself if something major goes wrong.

What say you?

Mine had 6k miles on it, ( an 04 Vert), when I bought the GMPP 48/32/0. I paid 975 in September of last year.

I'd go with the 48/32/200 like you are thinking. I would think of the warranty as covering major expences. I can afford $200. But, honestly, a buyer for your car would be grateful to have any warranty. It would be a great sales point. So, go with the one that fits you best in case you keep the car.

Do NOT get $200 deductible. That $200 every trip can eat your lunch.

I'd suggest Major Guard 4 year / 32k miles / $0 deducible

With $0 deductible I never hesitate to take my car in for ANYTHING.

You probably would with trhe $200 ded....

It's not a fact of affording the $200, but take the car in 5 times in those 4 years, or maybe more.. It all adds up. If you have a fairly minor repair needed that would be under warranty, you'd probably NOT do it with the $200 ded. I WOULD with the $0

Why pay for the warranty and then saddle yourself with a deductible?
Zero is the only one that makes sense to me.
