Kydex is used by custom knife makers to form sheaths for custom made knives. That’s how I found it, I make knives as a hobby. I get mine from this web site. I used the concealex for the nano install.
It's not that hard to do if you comfortable with a drimel tool. You do have to cut on the radio bezzel (if that's the name of the plastic thinge that goes in front of the radio/ AC controls) thought. If you want to do it yourself drop me a PM and I'll walk you through the process.

I just installed mine today and it works great. It's a kit from peripheral electronics ($99 at Best Buy). The GM kit comes with three different harnesses to cover various GM models. If you have the factory cd changer in the back, you can use harness PXHGM2. Disconnect the cd changer, plug in the interface and route your cable to the ipod and you're in business!
