Kydex is a Thromplastic, It's sheet plastic that gets soft when heated. Put a sheet of Kydex in the oven at 250 degrees of 5 minuets and you can form it into any shape.
Kydex is a Thromplastic, It's sheet plastic that gets soft when heated. Put a sheet of Kydex in the oven at 250 degrees of 5 minuets and you can form it into any shape.
I got a piece of 1/4 by 4 inch balsa wood from the local craft store, cut it out in the shape of the Nano (with cord attached). put the balsa wood copy on a metal cook sheet put the kydex on top and put it in the oven. After 5 minuets took it out then using my fingers I pressed the soft kydex around the mold.
