Default Who has relocated their BATTERY?

I'm thinking about doing the same. Where did yu buy your kit from or did you make your own.
Where are the cables run. and hooking up ground and power.
Where did you mounted it? I was thinking about the center storage space in the rear, but the disc changer is there.

Pictures would be nice also

Default battery relocation

I would not install the battery inside the passanger compartment. During the charge/discharge cycle, the battery will vent some very nasty sulphuric acid based vapors. Now if the new kit included some method to vent outside of the passenger compartment, then it would be good idea. Any other's who know more about this than me?

I relocated mine to the rear center compartment on my coupe. I got a Taylor sealed/vented boxed mainly to meet the NHRA rules. The ground wire connects to the rear chassis and the power wire runs up to the front in the rocker panel. The box is about $80 and the wire kit is about $40. I mainly did the relocation to free up the space for a PCV catch can and a vacuum canister.

Dual Optima Yellow Tops in the 2 side rear compartments. All custom, 1/0 gauge wire.

Well, that answered my question if a Optima Red Top would fit in one of the side rear compartments.

EG, I also need your recommendation on a cam for my car. Stock motor, LG Lt w/ cats, Corsa mufflers, 3.15 rear, Maggie w/ 7lbs. Would like a mean idle w/ out losing any blower power

The EnglandGreen Monster cam would be a good choice, IMHO. Give me a call to discuss.

I'm using a Optima redtop, from what I read on their website, they dont produce gassing as long as voltage stays below 15v
