Default Need New Tips!!

I hate my stock exhaust tips and eventually will get a cat back system.
In the mean time are there any suggestions for replacement tips? What sizes are available, and what is the size of the existing pipes to adapt to? Thanks

If you're going for just tips, i think magnaflow's pro style chrome tips are your best bet. Ask your local exhaust shop about prices.

you'll find good tips at borla, or u can get the Z06 tips

Im not sure about the stock size but u always can weld the new ones

and if you would take the extra mile do like i did and just cut some stainless steel tips and weld them on like i did with the borlas

A good tip runs $45 or $50. Four gets expensive when you add installation. May as well bite the bullet and get the exhaust system you want.

Check out used if you want to save some money. Or save for the new and get exactly what you want. You will be much happier.
BTW, GHL gets my vote.

You can find a good used exhaust right here on the forum between $400-500.

I waited until I could do the full catback! Corsa Touring here! I love'em! Dyno'ed my car three weeks ago and even with the touring option my car was the fourth or fifth loudest out of 15+ cars!
Loud order:

1. Headers w/ straight pipes - Insane BTW
2. Headers w/ unknown after market
3. Bone Stock Z06 Titanium
4. C6 Stock
5. My C5

Be patient, my tips looked like crap when I bought it!
