Good to hear - I am a believer in extended warranties for exactly that reason. Extended warranties have paid for themselves and then some on all my cars.
Fantastic. Just bought my 0/ded GMPP earlier this month (just figured, tis better to be safe than sorry later). Have never purchased an extension before (but with repair prices like that, it's more than evident these cars aren't cheap to repair).
My 02 hadn't given a lick of trouble, then the seat track failed on the driver's side. Eyeballed everything before taking it in and had them fix a leak around the oil pan too. Saved $1533.00 on that.
Weirdly enough, brought it home from the shop and the headlight motor took a dump that very night. It's back in getting one of those now.
$0 deductible GMPP and due to the very excellent forum dealers, didn't pay too much for the warranty either!
