Had a 3M Bra intstalled on my 04 Z a couple of weeks ago. He did the front bumper, 2 ft. up the hood, first foot or so on the front fenders, behind the front tires all the way back to the rear tires, from bottom of rockers up to about 4 inches on the doors, and behind the back tires. Looks real good have to really look to see it on the hood. You can see the line going across the hood if you look at the right angle, otherwise you cant even see it on the front bumper. Time will tell how good it works. Just some info. for those who are interested. Thanks
I've had on mine in similar locations and on the mirrors. It's lasted almost 7 years now. A few nicks in it at the wheel wheels but not in the paint. Great Inverstment!

Make sure that you wax that "clear bra" regularly. Keeps moisture in and keeps the yellow out. The "clear bra" brand is typically thicker and fades quicker. at my work we install "digicut" which is generally thinner and easier to maintain.
i recently removed my 3m clear bra form my hood after a little over 3 years on the car due to the edges turning white (never wax or buff over the edges of your clear bra). anyway, it left a (raised) line across my hood that i have not yet been able to buff out. i can actually feel it when i rub a fingernail across it, and it's down in the paint. it's not real noticeable, but it kinda looks like i never removed it in the first place.

You can wax over the edges of your clear bra. Been doing that for years. If your edges turn white use a Qtip with a little vineger to remove the excess wax.

800 bucks!!!
I need to learn how to apply this stuff myself or have a window tinter do it for me after I buy the kit because I think 800 is way to high to protect paint.

My advice would be to let the clear bra dealer do the install. This is not an easy DIY product.
