Ya, 800 bucks is alot of money but, I had a guy give me an estimate JUST FOR THE FRONT BUMPER for 900 bucks, WOW! The 800 I paid for the exta stuff didn't seem so bad. Doesn't really matter now it's done.

Ive done it on our Z06 and Cobra and it came out really good, you just need to be patient. Im getting one for my FRC once it gets here too, all my cars from now on will have them. You can find some places online that sell the 3M pretty cheap if your willing to try it yourself.

I'm surprised people do heads and cam at home but think that putting some clear film on the paint is not for the DIYer.
They sell cheap versions of the stuff at WalMart which are made by 3M but are not laser cut for our cars. You could definitely use that stuff to get practice or protect some strange areas. Its just film, so I don't see why it should cost more labor than tinting windows.
