Where is a reputible place to get a new 3:42 ratio differential to replace my 2:73? Any idea on the price installed? Must be someplace in western New Jersey or eastern Pennsylvania. I have a differential leak on the driver's side and maybe now is the time to just put in the new unit. Thanks for your assistance in advance.

Bruce,

You may want to try ECS. When I'm there getting headers installed and going to be inquiring on a 3.42 and new TC.

This is one of the most respected Vette shops in the country. It's not too far from PA, right at the border of Mercer and Ocean counties. Google East Coast Supercharging, though there is probably a link somewhere here on the forum.

Yep, I agree. It's a no brainer. ECS. East Coast Supercharging. Morning in afternoon out. Give Chris a call. He'll put in a new Z06 rear for $1495 including the shift points-about the same price that you'd pay to get new seals at a dealership. Wicked Weasel just had a post on a end of summer sale. Right down the Jersey Turnpike to Cream Ridge (near Great Adventure) Not far from you at all.
I had them put 4:10's in my M6. Could not be happier.

Have heard nothing but good comments on the work ECS does. Give them a call.

Another vote for ECS. They do great work and are about as trustworthy as they come.

These are the only guys that work on my baby besides me.

Had 4.10's with my H/C package but went back to 3.42's with the new setup. My 4.10's were perfect no wine or any problems for over 3yrs. Sold them to a buddy and they are still going strong with no problems.

ECS did my 3:42 and ARH Lt install. I believe the rear is $1495.00 installed. Wicked weasel has a thread about summer specials around here somewhere.

Here you go http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1769057

let me also suggest just buying a brand new GM unit from LAPD or Fichtner... or any other forum vendors that have access to genuine GM parts.

We will take your current gears and rear pumpkin out and replace it with a new Z06 carrier with 3.42 gears.

The cost for this plus change your shift points is $1495.00. Send me a PM if you want to schedule an appointment.

Bob
