Pull key & CLB question
Okay, first time I got this message. Car was running while the message displayed. Went into reverse, fuel cut off. Started right back up with no problems. Now, I did LOTS of searching, but one issue wasn't resolved.
If the recall was done(and it was done on mine, once) will the CLB work? I know it will keep the column from locking, but what about the fuel cut-off? What I have been reading, the fuel will still cut off, which is no help.
There has GOT to be a way around this stupid thing even after the recall.
BTW: I have cleaned the key pellet.

Yeah, what he said!! The fuel will still cut off after the CLB is installed. I found this out the hard way. But from what I've read hear, you shouldn't have to worry about the light again if you remove the Harness K and then install the CLB. I am in the process of getting that done. Just waiting for the CLB to arrive.
