How about stock or custom leather and custom interior paint. I think you'd like that better and it really ties the car together. Here is mine and I'm sure others will post.
Got the CF trim kit from zip corvettes on the way as well as a new center consol lid and shift and E-brake boot. now I'm saving to have the carpet and seats re done they are showinf their age.

I got the six piece CF kit that raps around. excuse the Floor matts i used them to protect my Lloyds matts.
(because that is the color of my interior )
The only "essentials" to a Vette interior IMHO are Lloyd's floormats, a waterfall emblem (if you have a coupe or Z) and a data plate for the bland cigarette lighter door. Anything else would be over doing it.
I say leave the wood trim in the Caddys. Either upgrade the leather, some nice kits out there as seen above or leave it alone. I actually like the stock interior. I don't know what the fuss is about with people saying the interior is crap in these things.
