Just ordered my door bezels to see how this stuff looks then plan on getting the rest. Had an idea: the door reflectors in our cars are worthless and RED! Can you carbon fiber them ?

The more subtle charcoal is the first carbon fiber I have seen that I might want in my black on black C5. Interior bezel pricing also looks reasonable (wish the carbon fiber engine parts were more affordable - I can't justify that type of expense in the engine bay for just me and the JiffyLube guy).

I will probably go ahead and order the door bezels to see how the charcoal looks and if they are as good as expected will order all the matching interior pieces. Be nice to see a photo of the charcoal installed.

I don't know why but that burlwood just screams to me. I have a light pewter interior and think it would be sharp, and would mucho further my sleeper effect of my car.

Belive me we seen plenty of samples. Most did not make the cut.
However this process looks unbelievable. Take the orange for one… the color has a bit of a metallic look to it in the weave which is just indescribable. Looks real but a little custom/different.

I understand your example...you just want real.
If you are looking to put your car on a diet real carbon is strong light and its the way to go. (plus it looks )
But to create actual carbon fiber interior pieces is a mini nightmare. Plus with all the clips, fasteners...etc...the pieces will probably cost a small fortune.
Not saying it can't be done but we already looked into all of this a while ago for a while.

So in the mean time if your just looking for the carbon look, with a little extra snap (color/variety ) these look amazing and will do the trick.
Applied to GM parts so no issue with fitting... Can't beat it with a stick.

Yes I agree, the Burl looks nice. We have received a lot of request/orders for it. I have those pieces in the pictures here on display at the store and they do look real good. I’m curious what a Black burl might look like…

Yes for these interior pieces and this proces the "Gun metal" is a more rich/darker subtle looking "weave". Where the regular carbon has a bit more silver to it.
Our Engine bay pieces you mentioned are actual carbon Fiber. So yes they are going to cost more.

I notice that you have the radio surround in the new carbon fiber look colours but are you planning to get the center storage console in the same finish?

I believe that if you weird if the center storage console was not the same, especially going from Blue to Black.

 

Wonder what a passenger air bag door cover would look like? As I understand these things hinge at the bottom when they deploy rather than fly out from the dash. Might be interesting? Also a passenger grab bar would be really neat, but probably hard to install where it would look good. Actually a two-piece grab bar that slips over the front and top and then clips or velcros on the back might work pretty well - especially since it is just cosmetic anyway (it might assist you in climbing out of the windshied after a crash?).

 

You have PURPLE!!! You have peeked my interest. Any pics? Also I agree with others that this is going to leave the passenger side a little nekkid. Any plans for something on that side?

Man, those burl pieces are beautiful. I'm not sure how they'd look in my all black interior, but they sure are class pieces.
