I had one doing that and when I took the door panel off I noticed that the adjuster that controls the window tip in was missing a nut. It had vibrated off and was laying inside the door. A little lock-tite and it was fine. Take the door panel off, roll down the window a bit and hit the door gently with your hand. You will find that rattle.
I had the same problem. To determine if it is the same problem, you would need to remove your door panel. The window regulator system is held in place with 4 bolts. Two (front and rear) on the door bottom and two almost at the top. The ones at the top would be the culprits. With the door panel removed you can look down and you will see a square hanger (for lack of a better description) where the regulator wire feeds through by both front and rear top bolts. On this hanger, facing the outside of the car you should see a circular button. Most likely the felt pad which was on this button has dropped off or been worn down. In my case one was missing and the other wasd very thin. I went to Lowe's and bought a 3/4 inch round self stick heavy duty felt pad. After I installed the pads using needle nosed pliers and a screw driver, I left the window down for 24 hours to give the adhesive time to fully set. It took care of the rattling.
I hope this helps you. Another question, does the window rattle more when it is fully down. If it does then your problem lays at the 2 lower bolts etc.
