I like my C5 and it's lots of fun, but I gotta tell ya, I followed a C6 Z06 down the highway for a few miles and I have to say, that car is really bad *** just the way it sits. You don't have to touch it aestetically and the performance, well, we all know about that. Just a really well executed car.

You're preachin' to the choir. We know the C6 Z06 is a monster.

I have to agree. At first I didn't care for them, but they sure do grow on you.I just wonder how the engineers & designers can possibly improve much more with the C7.
I like the C5 better. The C6 is awesome but looks a bit too much like a Viper. But I am looking forward to what they might do with the C7. But C5 for me.
I passed an old guy in a red c5 vert the other weekend, it was a beautiful car, and I dont like verts. Though Im more than happy with my C5, and once I get the full exhaust, cam, heads, ls6 intake, etc done...Ill love it even more.
I'm really not so much of a fan of the regular C6 as the C6Z. I love the fender bulges and muscular look of the car. As a matter of fact, I was having some work done at Doug Rippie Motorsports the other day and a fellow from Baltimore had driven down from there with a new yellow C6Z. He had DRM install American Racing Headers, a Callaway Honker, and a full dyno tune. It put down 486rwhp. A really nice car and nice fellow. He told me he has money down on two Blue Devils and is hoping to get at least one. Pretty cool day, all in all.

Definetly a great vette....but then I look at the price tag...and I remember I like the C5 pretty well!
I was driving to work yesterday when one pulled along side of me and then ahead of me. We kept getting behind and ahead of each other and I got to see the car driving from all different angles. Awesome piece of machinery there. We headed the same direction for about 5 miles or so and then he went a made a turn off the main road which I was going down. He gave me a Corvette wave though as he passed down the turning lane. I think he knew I really liked his car without me even saying anything. I just got mine a couple weeks ago but I am loving the Corvette and Corvette community more and more every day. So how long does it take to get a Corvette grin off your face after having your first one anyway?

The C6 Z06 is awesome, and the regular C6 isn't too shabby either. I'm liking the style more and more but just can't bring myself to pay the difference in price for a new Corvette.

Ya know, You haven't been here very long, but you're a very smart man. I like your style. (And of course I agree with you)

I am on my fifth one and the grin does not go away
Exactly my thought. And for some reason, black looks so much better to me on a C6 than a C5...although I like the color on either. But, I"ll take the C5's looks and bang-for-the-buck over the C6 any day of the week.
