Default Frame Rails Advice

Has anybody used the aluminum frame rails with built in lifting pads or the new high molecular weight plastic ones that don't have the lifting pads built in but you can still use jacking pucks from Elite Eng? Which is preffered? I don't really like the idea of drilling into the frame, but if it's going to protect the panels I will consider it. I have this scenario stuck in my mind that they will come off while driving and totaly waste the underside and fenders.

We have the Rocker Rails on both our C5's - A&A's on mine and EE's on Mrs. Patches'. No worries about these falling off. Several screws each hold them on securely.

They won't come off and they work well. A good investment if you don't want to damage your rockers.

I've had the A&A rails on for 3 years now. They are fixed tight as a drum with just a few screws and there's no chance they'll fall of.

Simple mod, only minutes to fit and they give great peace of mind.

Now I need to go out and clean the underside of my car so I can keep up with Patches

Me too. NOTE; the mounting holes in the frame that are needed are very easy to do. I was surprised how soft the steel used in our frame is. It cuts like butter.
