Hi All
Just wanted to say Hi ,and that already have learned alot here. About 5 weeks ago I started checking out the forum because I was in the market for a C5 Corvette. A week ago today I drove my car home its a 2002 Quicksilver,6 speed, with 7136 miles when I got it, my first Corvette after all these years(48) wanting one. Thanks to the forum I have ordered the CLB from Corvettes of Houston. Thanks to KCJEFFS review of the headliner from Down South Corvettes,I ordered one,really nice piece ,looks factory and keeps this Missouri sun off my bald head LOL. Thanks for all the great info. Ron Herndon

Welcome Ron... Did you happen to go to the Vettes on the square show yesterday? Or is it today? I saw a thread on it earlier last week...
We get down that way every so often... Because Oak's "Elite Street Vette's" is a shop we like to hang out in... They do rear end changes, headers, heads, cam, clutches, motor swaps, Superchargers, Alchohol injection... pretty much everything except Tuning. Super good guy owns the place (that'd be Oak!) He takes real good care of his "customers" for sure!! He'll visit you in the hospital when you're sick, work on your car when your sick, or help you when you're healthy - Makes no difference!! Pretty good bunch that hangs out there too - some are local and some come from MILES away... You can't beat the shop rates because there are none!!

Thanks for the warm welcome!!! I will try and post some pics soon, as for the mods looks like this spring cat-backs and a vararam system to start. I had to go over to the St Louis MO. area, 200 miles, it was a great ride home. I drove it to work every day so far, and will continue to, just love the ride!!! It will be a driver thats why I bought it!!! Hey Oaks where is the Outlaw cigar shop located would love to be there, missed the square show was just to hot, I worked in the heat all week needed a break. Thanks again all. see ya Ron
