I recently had some seat work done on my '98 at a friends shop and now every time I stick the key in the ignition, the seat starts to move all the way up. I then have to move it back to fit my position. I've gone through the menu and the "seat easy entry" option if off, but still no luck. Thanks for any help as I don't have an owners manual right now.
hold the memory button door untill it lights up. use the one for which key you have: 1 or 2. After that set your seat the way you want the hit the button again. it will remember the settings.
Actually easy entry is the feature where the seat moves all the way to the back. What he is getting is the seat moving to its previously stored memory position. By storing his seat position he can stop the seat from moving forward.

Is there a border between the US and Canada?
