Default Not sure what happened??? Help

I went out for a little cruise today and there was some jack a$$ that was blocking the road. So I hammered it and went around him. The vette shot off with great thrust and then for a pause it was like I let off the gas which I didn't. Then it revved up again and went again... What the hell??? Was that??? Any guesses

You can check it by holding down the traction control button for 10 seconds while you look at your DIC. It will say "traction control off" and then switch to "competitive driving or competition mode". Heck, I'd have to go to my car to remember the exact words, but you will know it.

Punch it then. You will be able to spin your tires but not get sideways or out of control . . . . . . in theory anyway.

I'd say that the tires broke loose and the traction control kicked in.

I agree it sounds like traction control taking over. However, if you went a little sideways first, it could have been the active handling too.

You'd get an Active Handling caption on the DIC and a shimmy if the AH kicked in.

Did you hit the rev limiter? If so, you'd get a momentary hesitation; a bit like a stutter. It would also give you a shift caption in the HUD.

Correct! I did it last night. Tires just light up and the Active Handling keep you going straight (within limits).

What did you find out with the hesitation problem you was having?
Did the Competitive mode correct the problem?

While I agree with what you are saying, it can be tough to see it on the dic if you are focused on the road ahead.
But it certainly sounds like the computers took over.
