I just got new tires today. I got rid of the General Exclaim UHP tires that came on my vette when I bought the car. They handled great in dry and wet conditions but the road noise was driving me nuts. I replaced them with Kumho Ecsta ASX. What a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and very little road noise. Driving will be fun again. Thanks for listening.
Hmmm..I was thinking that when my Kumho's go bald that I was going to replace them with the General Exclaim UHP's as the reviews seemed pretty good...Now I need to find another inexpensive summer only tire...Thanks for the info...
Try Avons. They are made in Ohio at the Cooper factory and have had very good reviews by the Tirerack. Of course, if you want the very best and have the money, The Goodyear GSD3s defy modern physics. I am amazed every time I take on a curve, whether it be dry or wet! A good second choice is BF Goodrich.
