East Coast Corvettes
Has anyone else had dealings with them. I ordered a trunk lid liner last night online and called early this morning to make sure they received my order and that it would ship today.I need it for a show saturday.My original wont stick and the paint is now ruined do to the originals glue.Wish it was never there to begin with!.
Anyway, Finally got a call back around 1pm.Found out they do not stock the item but it gets dropped ship from Ca.Won't ship until tommorow,so coming from Ca it wont make it here by sat.I ordered it from east coast because I thought it was coming from the east coast and would make it here. Only way i would get it is bite the bullet and pay for 2nd day air. They would call back with extra priceof shipping. I thought about and decided to cancel and get it local.
Here is why they lost any future purchases from me. They will only refund 95% of the purchase price because they say they still have to give mastercard 5% even though the order was cancelled.
This only amounts to around 5.00 but its more the principal. I called Mastercard and it was never billed yet ,only authorized and no they shouldn't be charging the 5%. Mastercard wants me to turn it over to merchant violations.
Anyone else run into this. Thing is,when they firstcalled me back at 1.pm,the item was not leaving Ca. until wed. When i cancelled and got into the 5% discussion all of a sudden its boxed and going this afternoon. If they would have informed me of this before cancelling I would have went for it and hoped it arrived.
NOTE: I went back and looked at thier website and it does state about the 5% cancellation fee to recoup credit card charges and admin. fees. There should have been no charges .
