I would like to know if there is A kit to install standard shocks in replacement for the electric system. I just do not have thousands to spend on shocks.

Yes you can... You can replace the eletronic ones for standard ones.
Then you have to have a tech delete the ride control program from the PCM. Only reason I say a tech, is because they should have a TECH II programer... and last time I looked, they were about $3K.
Dave, I called the local chevy dealership after your post and the shop manager said the ride control light would stay on and the active handling would be a problem. Is this someone that does not want to help or maybe just has never tried to delete the shocks?
What year Vette? I changed out my F45s on my 99 and got some resistors from Radio Shack for $4 and my computer believes my orginal shocks are installed and I changed them out for Koni FSD. 01 and newer they can be coded out and you will not have to do thr $4 mod, let me know if you need the procedures and I will pm them to you
