Default Question and concern bout a few codes....

P0332 Knock Sensor (KS) Circuit Rear
U1064 Loss of Communication with BCM
U1160 Loss of Communications with LDCM
U1000 Loss of Communication Undetermined


All of these are history codes on the car....BUT

the knock sensor kinda scared me, why would this pop up

and what is with all of the loss of communication codes? wtf

The loss of comms codes can be just an electrical glitch. The knock sensor may be more worrying though.

As I understand it the knock sensor alerts the ignition system if the gas is low octane and retards the ignition. If its not working and you have pre-ignition the electronics would not be compensating. Best use decent gas in the meantime. Guys smarter than me may add more to that.

I'd clear them down and check back in a few days to see if they reappear. I'd lay bets that the loss of comms codes dont come back but it may be worth watching the other one and then reposting.

Ive always run 93 in it, just seemed wierd. I cleared them we'll see what comes back...
