The highest I ever saw in Vegas was 126 degrees but I didn't capture it on film. Best I got was 104.
I used to drop the roof and have the AC on max. Used to get a few strange looks from other drivers

it was 98 at 9pm as I drove away from our gtg. It was Sin City Vettes 1st Year Anniversary and it was hot, but we were all eating ice cream from Sonic and of course it's dry heat.
My Ford used to say that, in December in NY. It was broken, like most things in the Ford cars I've owned. Most I seen in my Vette in the past month has been 94. Guess I'm lucky so far.

On June 26, 1990 it was 122 degrees ambient temperature in Phoenix, AZ. Heaven knows what the adjusted temperature was with humidity and roadway temperatures on top of that.
Our company cars were 5.0L Mustangs. They wouldn't even run in that temperature. It was a long day in the office that day...
On that very day I was stuck in the Phoenix Airport - it was too hot to fly and we had to sit until evening until the temps went down low enough to take off
