Default Side vent screens

I bought some side vent screens. Anyone installed without removing the wheels? If so, give me some advice please.

I left mine on. Turn the wheel all the way, one side or the other. It wasn't bad, just had to take a few things off to get them in. About 25 min. a side.

It might be easier with wheels off but I did mine with wheels on. Turn your wheells in direction which gives you the most room depending which side you start on. Remove lower inner fender well cover. Inside that remove to bolts that hold inner door to vent area. Clean area very well where screen attaches. I also roughed area up with sand paper. My screens attached with 3M tape but I also used a bond "jel" adhesive called 2P-10 with activator. Other members have used RTV sealants. I saw too many threads where in hot weather screens that were taped came disbonded. I've had mine on for 2 years and no problems. Hope this helps you.

I installed mine with the wheels off - just made it so much easier to get up in there and ensure that the mounting points for the acrylic blocks was nice and clean. But like mentioned above, you can do it with the wheels on.

I did mine with the wheels on as well. Real easy once you remember that some bolts can only be gotten to from one way the wheels are turned and the rest of the bolts with the wheels the other way.

So do as many bolts that you can get to with the wheels turned left on both sides, the turn the wheels right and get the rest of the bolts off both sides, etc.

Just did mine last week and removed the wheels, a lot easier to do a good job. Used sealant as to many have said they will come off if you just use the 2 sided tape.

Same here. I used a little epoxy on mine once they were in place.
Did not want to go through the process again if the tape failed.
