Not my cup of tea but I do dig watching some peanut brained moron blow their cars up and waste their tires for their 5 minutes of fame. I also love watching these same mental caliber of guys break their arms, legs, necks...and other body parts...doing "cool" things on skateboards and bicycles. I keep hoping to get to witness one of these heroes on a motorcycle spread their butts all over the interstate while they impress me with doing a wheelie at 75MPH. I even bought a new camera phone that will do video just to capture this amazingly impressive event. Plus maybe their next of kin would like to purchase a copy to be able to remember just how cool he was. Works for me!!!
I also don't go in for abusing a vehicle to the point of purposely causing damage. Seems a shame to see a car so many desire and envy but can not afford themselves be thrashed. To me this action is either just no respect or just too much money.
Purpose built machines are a different matter i.e. race cars, exhibition, ect.. Yes, as a citizen of this country one has the right to pretty much do with his property what they want. But it is still a waste, maybe because I personally have had to work so hard for all that I have.

I respectfully offer another opinion - this just goes to show that Corvette people actually enjoy driving their vehicles and taking advantage of the car's capabilities. In other words, we just wanna have fun!! Personally, I don't really care nor get bothered by what the bluebloods think.
Let those uber-teutonic types wax their well-crafted battleships and sit there in admiration. Personally, I'd rather be cruising or hanging-out at the burnout competition!
