Wife calls and tells me there is a big puddle of red stuff where the 01 vette vert parks in the garage. I go out to the parking garage and sure enough it is rad fluid. Take the vette home at lunch and find a leak where a heater hose connects to the bottom of the overflow tank. The other end of hte hose connects to a mettal line along the firewall.
Anyone know what size hose I need to get to replace this? Diameter?
I would like to make one trip to the parts house to get something to catch the rad fluid and the hose.
Look at the hose, the GM part number should be printed on it.
Going to the firewall indicates either the in or out from the heater core.
Otherwise just identify which one and call Chevy parts for price quote. If it is a pre-formed hose, I'd buy the GM and not just a regular piece of hose. But that is just me.
